Who it’s for
You've put real thought into how you practice. Your website should reflect that.
Maybe you're just getting started and are figuring out what private practice looks like for you. Maybe you've been doing this work for decades and are finally ready for a presence that aligns with the practitioner you've become.
Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum, you know what you want to put out into the world, you just need someone to help you get it there.
Do any of these sound like you?
You're just starting out
Newly registered and building a practice. You want to invest in a professional presence that can grow with you but you don’t want to overinvest before you know more about who you’ll be as a therapist. You care deeply about how you're presented
How your practice looks and feels matters to you. You just don't have hours to pour into creating that aligned representation yourself or the tolerance to publish something you're not proud of.You want the quality of a custom build without the custom price tag
You've looked at what a full design project costs. The timeline and the numbers don't work right now. You still want something considered and beautiful, just at a price that works for where you’re at.
Introducing the archetype system
Your presence, predesigned.
Every Fieldsite is built around one of six archetypes, each one with a distinct tonal and visual foundation, inspired by the way different therapists show up.
You establish yours before we build anything and it guides everything: the palette, the typography, even the tone of your copy.
No expensive branding process but also not a generic Canva brand.
Warm & Relational
Your work feels warm, slow, and safe.
Your design elements prioritise airy spacing, soft edges, and warmth through colour and texture.
Your voice is unhurried and gentle.
Editorial & Reflective
Your work is rooted in clarity and thoughtful inquiry.
Your design elements feel modern, intentional, and considered — precision as a form of care.
Your voice is measured and intelligent.
Earthy & Somatic
Your work is rooted in embodiment and a felt sense of connection.
Your design elements weave together earth tones, organic shapes, and natural textures.
Your voice is honest and grounded.
Contemporary & Clinical
You bring a human-centred approach to evidence-based practice.
Your design elements convey clarity, structure, and competence without coldness.
Your voice is clear and direct.
Archetypal & Liminal
Your work is held with reverence for what lies beneath the surface.
Your design elements speak to pattern, shadow, and layered meaning.
Your voice is evocative and unhurried.
Bright & Affirming
Your work is warm, direct, and genuinely present.
Your design elements are alive with colour, personality, and intention.
Your voice is accepting, validating and real.
Meet your Field Guide
A conversation that writes your copy for you.
Getting words down is the often part that holds things up. Not because you don't know what to say, but because being asked to describe yourself and your work, from scratch, on a blank page, is genuinely difficult.
The Field Guide is an AI-powered interview that flows like a conversation. You answer in your own words, it structures your copy, matches your archetype's voice, and leaves you with a complete first draft for every section of your site.
Not sure about AI?
That’s ok, too. We have a static content questionnaire you can fill out instead and we'll take it from there.
The Process
From start to finish in a single day.
01
Book your web day
Choose a date that works for you. Once your deposit is in, your spot is confirmed and we'll send over everything you need to prepare, including access to the Field Guide and your client Google Drive folder.
02
Complete your content
Before web day, you'll complete your content either by working through the Field Guide interview and dropping your copy into the content form, or by filling out the content form directly. You'll also upload your headshots and any other photos you'd like on the site to your client Google Drive folder. Everything is due 1 week before your web day.
03
Your web day
We open with a short call to confirm your archetype direction, answer any final questions, and get your Squarespace subscription and domain set up.
Then you step away and live your life while we build.
04
Handover & launch
We close the day together with a recorded walkthrough of your finished site. On that call we go over how to navigate it, how to make edits, and everything you need to feel confident managing it on your own. Then we hand over the keys.
How we compare
At the intersection of DIY and custom, we’re kind of a no- brainer.
But don’t take our word for it — here are the facts:

The perfect in between
Not quite a template.
Not quite a custom build.
Most therapists are choosing between two options that don't fit — a DIY template that looks like every other therapy site on the internet or a fully custom build that costs more than a few months of sessions and takes longer than you have time for.
Fieldsites is neither of those things.
Your worry
Template sites all look the same.
our Solution
Six archetypes, multiple style guides per archetype, and a designer who guides the entire process. This isn't a template you purchase and figure out alone, it’s a collaboration we move through together.
Your worry
It won't reflect how layered and complex my practice actually is.
our Solution
Fieldsites was built with a deep understanding of how multidimensional a therapist’s practice is. Every section of our sites have been thoughtfully considered and we’ve built custom widgets specifically for this work.
Your worry
Copy prompts are vague and I'll end up with generic filler.
our Solution
We created the Field Guide to engage with you the way you're most comfortable, in conversation. It interviews you, listens, and writes copy that actually sounds like you.
Your worry
Template sites don't show up in search results.
our Solution
Maybe not when you're doing it yourself. But when a designer builds in SEO and AI visibility from day one, you launch with a foundation that gets found, both on Google and in the AI tools people are increasingly using to find therapists.
Your worry
I'm early in my practice. What if I outgrow it in two years?
our Solution
Very valid concern. But Squarespace is wildly capable of scaling with you. Specialise in EMDR? Add a page, no lost SEO. Want a newsletter, a course, a product, a resource library? Already ready to go. With Squarespace your foundation expands so you never have to start over.

FAQs
Answers to some of the things you might be wondering about
-
After booking, you'll receive access to the Field Guide. It walks you through everything we need for the site: your archetype, copy, content — at your own pace. Come web day, we're ready to build.
-
Yes, completely. Your Squarespace account is yours, your domain is yours, and everything we build is handed over to you at the end of web day. You can manage it, update it, and grow it entirely on your own. We do stay on as Admin users after handover so we can pop in easily if you ever need support, but you're welcome to remove us at any time.
-
A 50% deposit is due at booking to secure your web day date. The remaining 50% is due on the day of your build. Your deposit is non-refundable but your date is transferable with at least 7 days notice.
-
We have a short quiz for exactly that. It takes about two minutes and helps you establish the tone and visual direction that best reflects how you want to show up for clients. Click here to take the quiz.
-
That is totally ok. You can complete our content questionnaire directly instead and submit it the same way. The end result is the same, complete, structured copy ready for build day.
-
Both, in a way. The Field Guide interviews you and writes your copy based on your answers, in your archetype's voice. You review it, adjust anything that doesn't sound right, and send it through. It's your words, the Field Guide just help you find them.
-
Yes. Squarespace is one of the most intuitive platforms available, which is why we use (and love) it. We'll walk you through the basics on handover and you'll be able to make changes without needing any technical knowledge.
-
More and more people are using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to search for services, including therapists. AI visibility means your site is structured in a way that makes it more likely to surface in those results, in addition to traditional Google search.
-
Absolutely. Your Fieldsite is built on Squarespace, which means you can add a blog, resources page, booking system, or anything else at any point. You can do it yourself, or work with us again when you're ready to grow.
-
Your Squarespace subscription is typically $23–30/month, billed monthly or annually, based on your preference. Your domain is usually an additional $15–25/year (free for your first year if you purchase an annual subscription with Squarespace).
Those are your guaranteed expenses. Additional ones may include custom email addresses (conveniently managed directly in Squarespace), newsletter subscriptions, or scheduling subscriptions.
-
Yes. While Fieldsites is based in Victoria, BC, we work with therapists and counsellors across Canada and the United States. Everything is done remotely and web days runs entirely online.
-
For solo practitioners, the best setup is a professionally designed site on a platform you can actually manage yourself, without needing a developer every time something needs updating. Squarespace hits that mark better than most: it's intuitive, reliable, looks beautiful, and scales as your practice grows. That's why every Fieldsite is built on it. The difference between a DIY Squarespace site and a Fieldsites build isn't the platform, it's the archetype-matched design, the Field Guide copy system, and a designer who knows the specific needs of a therapy practice inside out.
-
Short answer, yes.
Longer answer, Fieldsites was built for therapists and counsellors — the archetype system, the Field Guide interview, and the custom widgets are all designed with that context in mind. That said, the formula works for coaches who want a professional, distinctive web presence without the DIY effort or the custom price tag. As long as you book knowing that some of the widgets and the interview tool were built specifically for clinical practice profiles and won't map directly to coaching work, we can make it work beautifully.
